Tuesday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! Are you easily moved away from joy in your walk with Jesus? Do you find yourself easily distracted by trials, resistance or the busyness of life? Sometimes, it's the misplaced focus on the things that are not eternal that we hold too dear in place of our relationship with Jesus that causes it.

In order to finish our race of faith with joy and complete the ministry given to us by Christ, we have to learn to be secure in our relationship with Him. It has to be about Jesus and not the things we do for Him. Otherwise, it will become a chore, a job and tedious tasks of endurance against the trials and chains that await us.

May we stay in love with Jesus, make Him our number one priority and our utmost focus so that our life will be hidden in Him and testify to the gospel of the grace of God. In this, others may see His love and know Him for themselves as Savior and Lord. Strive for this as you make a great day!
