Good morning! It is important to remember all that Jesus has done for us. The cross was brutal. Beyond what we can imagine, the cross was even worse for Jesus because He was carrying all the sins of the world, though Himself being innocent.
He knows what it is to suffer. If you're suffering, know that Jesus knows your hurt. He was rejected by people, even His own race. He was despised and no one defended Him. He knew what grief was and felt deep sorrow because of sin.
Yet, He bore our grief, carried our sorrows and took on the burden of our sin. He suffered the wrath of God in our place, so through Him, we could be forgiven and have eternal life. Through belief in Him, we have hope.
Take time to thank Him for this great gift. When you are grieving and sorrowful, come to Him and let Him carry it to the cross so that you can receive freedom. He cares for you so that you can live in hope as you make a great day!
