Tuesday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! So often, we let fear dictate our obedience. We count the cost of obedience rather than the cost of disobedience as if it will be more expensive. Fear is a liar and it causes you to believe a lie if you let it take hold of your heart.
God commands us to be bold, strong and courageous. He tells us not to let fear rule our thinking, our hearts or cloud our judgment. He promises to be with us wherever we go. So why do we let fear take lordship of our life rather than God's promises?
Fear should not be our default instinct when we serve God. Whatever you face, I promise you, God is bigger and stronger than whatever giant is before you. Let Him destroy the giants in your life and give you the courage to stand up against the bully of fear. Push back against whatever has you afraid to be obedient to Christ. The cost of not obeying Him is greater than the cost of trusting Him. Be strong and of good courage as you make a great day!
