Good morning! God has an acceptable way to worship Him clearly laid out for us all throughout Scripture. Worship has nothing to do with much of what it has been made out to be. Worship He accepts is laid out for us, we just have to be willing to obey.
Worship means to bow in reverence acknowledging one as greater and superior in rank. It's not about music or songs. It's not about style or genre. It's about Jesus being given the greatest name and rank in all creation. He is worthy of our reverence and praise.
Songs can be used, music can be a part of how we worship, but when it becomes about our preference, we shut out His presence. Worship Him by yielding the deepest part of yourself to Him and by the way the word tells us to so you will be in truth. His word is truth.
Bow before Him, praise Him with thanksgiving, claps your hands and acknowledge Him alone as great. Let your life be pleasing to Him as an act of worship in all you do as you make a great day!
