Tuesday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Writer's picture: Bret SanorBret Sanor

Good morning! Why you do whatever you do is more important than what you do alone. Selfishness may seem beneficial at the time, but God sees the motives and will judge accordingly. If we do everything from selfish ambition, we will reap destruction.

You can fool people and get by with it, but you cannot fool God and you will reap what you sow. It's tempting to use gifts to manipulate people but God is not deceived and will not be mocked. Be careful!

Conversely, if you do things to glorify God, sowing in the Spirit, you will not reap corruption and destruction, but blessing and eternal life. Choose wisely! Do everything with the right heart and motives and God will be pleased with you. Let His character be evident in you as you act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with God as you make a great day!
