The enemy wants nothing more than for you to think you will not hurt anything or anyone by indulging for just one night. Drink away your cares, party away the stress, it's just one night... Being sober-minded keeps you from falling into the traps of the enemy.
Don't let your pride trick you into thinking you have everything under control. Drinking causes you to lose your self-control. It leads to extreme indulgence in sensual sin that could cause life-altering, irreversible consequences. Is it really worth it? I challenge you to finish the year by being filled with the Holy Spirit.
He can do for you what no substance or person could ever do. I've never seen Him turn water into wine, but I have seen Him turn beer into groceries and whisky into furniture and drugs into a savings account. Let the Lord be enough for you. Be careful, be wise, be sober, make the most of every opportunity and be filled with the Spirit. Finish the year well and let God give you a vision for your life in 2025 as you make a great day!
