Good morning! I was taught growing up that you keep your word. Your word is your reputation and if you break your word, you have nothing and have a bad reputation. I was told it takes a lifetime to build a good reputation and just a moment to lose it.
It is true and that is why we can fully trust the Lord because He has never broken His word. His reputation stands the test of time and He is faithful without fault. The certainty of His word is everlasting.
His name would mean nothing if He did not keep His word. But His name is exalted because His word is faithful and true. His word is above all things and will by no means ever pass away. His name is backed by His word so His word is above His name.
Trust the reputation of the Lord. He is faithful and true. His word is His nature and His name is backed by His word. He is good and He is not a man that He should lie or break His promises. He can be trusted and therefore, is worthy of all worship and praise. Worship and praise Him today, for He alone is perfectly faithful and you can trust Him to help you make a great day!
