Good morning! Today, Jesus focused on building on prayer with faith and forgiveness. Not only should we pray, but pray with faith believing that God will answer. Have faith in God. It's not a suggestion, but a command and an invitation to trust God.
Faith can move mountains. Sometimes we face a mountain of debt or circumstances that seem impossible. Faith in God removes your doubts because it gives room for possibility. In ourselves, we often do not have the answers, but in God, we find unlimited potential. Faith taps into that realm of possibility and believes God can and will do something.
Oftentimes, the mountain we face is a mountain of offense. Offense hinders your prayers. Jesus emphasized forgiveness because it removes the poison from your heart and allows peace to rule in that place instead. Jesus had to practice forgiveness to accomplish the mission. If we want to receive God's forgiveness, we have to forgive others.
Let these things be in your heart and mind today. Move from mere prayer to faith-filled action against the mountains that you need to overcome. God will rearrange the landscape of your life through faith. Forgive anyone who has offended you because we have all offended God. Remember the cross and see what offenses did to Jesus. What He did for you is greater than what anyone did to you. Put this into practice and you'll always make a great day!
