Tuesday's Devotional - 5/12/2026

Good morning! What mind are we supposed to let be in us that was also in Christ? The mind of selfless love that considers the needs of others and considers others better than themselves. Humility and service are paramount in the kingdom.

Jesus could have come in full arrogance to show off His power and brag about being God. But He didn't. He came humbly, even being born in a manger, not a palace. He came to serve, not to be served. He gave, even His own life, as a ransom for many.

He came in the likeness of man, not in a glorified state of His deity. He willingly went to the cross after being brutally beaten and whipped as if He was the chief of criminals. Greatness in the kingdom is measured by humility, service and loving others.

So often we work to build our reputation into something great. Jesus made Himself of no reputation in servanthood to those who will one day bow a knee to Him and confess He is Lord. Let Jesus be your reputation and let His life be your example for how to live. Be selfless and humble in love for God and others as you make a great day!
