Tuesday's Devotional - 4/28/2026

Good morning! The human ego doesn't like to admit we've done anything wrong. We will go to great lengths to defend our position and justify our behavior. But everyone, rather they want to admit it or not, has all done something wrong. All have sinned.

Sin is the universal condition of humanity. We all miss the mark of perfection at some point. You don't have to teach a toddler to lie, they will do it to get out of trouble on their own. They need to be taught how to be truthful. When sin entered the picture, a curse fell on humanity.

Our nature was changed from God's intent and original design. That's why Jesus had to come the way He did. Conceived in the womb of a virgin by the Holy Spirit, born without the same corrupt nature of man, lived sinless and fulfilled the law. He died as if He was the chief sinner and raised to life again under His own power three days later.

He paid the price for our sin. But by God's grace, He justified us by His blood to make us not guilty when we trust in and follow Him. He has redeemed us by His grace and given us all things for salvation and eternal life. Praise Him for His gift of grace! If you're caught in sin, turn from it, receive forgiveness by His grace, put your trust in Him and follow Him. You will have eternal life and know how to have hope to make each day a great day!
