Good morning! It's hard to find joy in suffering or to see it as a privilege. But suffering for Christ is a privilege and an honor. He needlessly suffered for us in our sin; the righteous for the unrighteous. In doing so, we have forgiveness and eternal life.

He suffered many things and to share in His suffering is to share in His life. In Revelation 12:11 it says, "And they overcame him (the devil) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death." To overcome something, there has to be resistance, an obstacle, something to overcome.

We will overcome the suffering if we remember Jesus and the reward of eternal life. It is by the blood of Jesus and the word of our testimony of what He has done that we overcome adversity. Remember our suffering Savior and know the present suffering we have for His sake will be nothing compared to the glory of heaven, eternal life and being in the fullness of His presence forever. Think on this as you make a great day!
