Thursday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! This verse is needed so much in today's church. I've never seen so much discord and strife towards each other. Why are we letting the enemy influence us as the church to make enemies of one another?

Why are we letting ourselves be so divisive? I think the greatest need of revival in the churches of our nation of America is a revival of God's love. We need a baptism of His love that helps the body to stop hating, nitpicking, badgering, belittling, bad mouthing and destroying each other.

If we are really His people, then we ought to represent Him and His love well. If His love lives in us, then we ought to act like it. How? By loving one another. If we have hate in our heart towards someone, we are a murderer (1 John 3:15). Let us pray for the church in America that we would all rid ourselves of all hatred and evil and let God's perfect love live in and through us. Jesus, let your love fall on your people once again! Let His love abide in you and be perfected in you so that every day, you can make a great day!
