Good morning and Merry Christmas! The greatest story ever told is that God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Jesus came to redeem all of humanity from their sin.
A King born as a baby, not in a palace, but in a barn. God's Lamb born in a barn, the horn of salvation, the one Abraham saw that God Himself would provide to be the sacrifice. The ram whose horn was caught in the thicket was a foreshadow of the Lamb whose head would wrapped in a crown of thorns.
He didn't come in the grandeur and splendor that men would expect, but in the humbleness of the company of animals in the feed trough. Yet wise men traveled far to see Him with expensive gifts in tow. Shepherds came to worship Him as the Good Shepherd who would lay down His life for His flock. Angels rejoiced, a star shone bright to point the way to the Savior and the earth responded in awe.
May you be in awe of the Savior who was born to take away the sins of the world. May His presence cause you to worship Him as the King of kings and the Lord of lords. May you experience the miracle of the season in your own life as the great Deliverer. Merry Christmas from my family to yours and I pray you are blessed as you make a great day!
