Thursday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! Not only did God give a sign of how Jesus would come and be born, but He also specifically named the place it would happen. Jesus was born exactly there. The circumstances were not easy and the way He made it happen was not fully understood in the moment.

But God was seeing to His word. A census came that forced Mary and Joseph to a place that had not thought to be, especially as Mary was in the last trimester of her pregnancy. But it put them exactly where they needed to be to fulfill the prophetic word about Jesus.

When you read the word, do you doubt it for something you are facing? I'd love to say I'm perfect at faith and believe one hundred percent every time I face something, but I do have doubts at times. But how I get through those doubts is by reading the word more.

Dive into the word and continue to seek His counsel. I believe the word is absolute truth. So, I discipline myself to seek it for answers and to build my faith. We need to inquire of the Lord through His word and stay diligent in our faith in these last days. Keep in the word daily and God will reveal what you need to make each day a great day!
