Good morning! Waiting is hard. But sometimes, it is necessary. Waiting develops patience. Patience teaches you to wait well. Many people complain about waiting. I think it's because they don't understand the process of waiting develops character.
It's also easier to wait patiently when you know what you are waiting on. For instance, it was a long wait for my kids to be born. It was several hours of labor for the process of my wife giving birth. But the wait was worth it once I met my children.
My daughter was harder to wait for than my son. It was a more difficult birth, was a longer process with more medical procedures and more stressful. I learned how to wait better through that process. When my son came, it was a much smoother process and I knew how to wait better. When you wait on the Lord, you learn how to wait better.
Like birth, it's not in your time, but when things are ready. Sometimes, God makes you wait longer than other times. But through the waiting, He sustains you with strength and encouragement. If you learn to wait well, He will come through and you will learn the outcome was worth the wait. Trust the Lord, wait on Him and let Him develop character in you as you make a great day!
