Thursday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! Many people over the millenniums have called out for help in their distress. Many have called out to foreign gods and things they believed were the answer. But the only god who has ever answered is the Lord God.

The Baal's could not help the Israelites no matter how much they danced, chanted and cut themselves. Molech couldn't help them even after all the child sacrifices they gave. All the gods of Egypt couldn't do the works of the Lord nor stop them.

We have witnessed the power of God throughout history to deliver His people. He has done it from the beginning and will do it until the final judgment. Renounce self-sufficiency. Renounce karma. Renounce charms and zodiacs. Renounce calling on dead relatives. Renounce all foreign gods and call upon the Lord God.

He and He alone is the one true God who can help, save, deliver and conquer anything. He is the LORD! Look to Him, remember Him, call upon Him and watch and see how He shows Himself to be God once again. Let Him rule your life and be in His rightful place as the Lord of your life. Then you will be able to understand how to make each day a great day!
