Good morning! When we understand that our bodies are God's temple, we should see ourselves differently. The perspective shifts from "my body" to "His temple." We can see ourselves through His eyes that show us we are created to be in relationship with Him.
He created us for relationship with Himself and relationships with each other. We don't get good to get God, we get God to get good. He has work for us to do that has been prepared ahead of time for us to do. But it doesn't equate to our salvation.
It is a response to the relationship He purchased for us to have through Christ. We receive the relationship, then discover our purpose. Identity always precedes purpose but they are connected because one always points to the other. It is a reflection of how our relationship with God points us to knowing why we are created.
Walk in the plan God has for you as a response to the goodness He has shown you through Christ. It is in this grace and mercy where gratitude is born and hope is revealed. It is the place of freedom we receive that points us to working in the kingdom and learning how to make every day a great day!
