Thursday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! How much time do you give to things that are not eternal? I see so many people glued to news feeds and political speeches like they are gospel truth. They are not eternal like the word of God nor are they absolute truth like the word of God.

Jesus said heaven and earth will all pass away, but His words, by no means, will ever pass away. (Matthew 24:35) God's faithfulness cannot be nullified by a person's unbelief. Let God be true and every man a liar. His judgments are right and His word is true. (Romans 3:3-4)

He is faithful and true. His mercy, judgments and word all last forever. He is from everlasting to everlasting. Put your trust in Him! Let His word of truth fill you with discernment to recognize the lies of men and the enemy. Give your focus to the eternal word of God and put your trust in Him. It will never lead you astray or disappoint you. Then, you will have the wisdom to make always make a great day!
