Good morning! Often, children get overlooked as being able to be useful in the kingdom until they are of a certain age. Jesus stopped teaching adults to spend time with and bless children. He tells us we need to have faith like a child.
Many times in the Bible, God used young people to do big things that the adults were too afraid or too stubborn to do. David was young when he slew the giant. Mary was barely a teen when God chose her to give birth to His only Son.
In what way have you overlooked children as being the church now and not in the future? How have you viewed children as disqualified from serving because of their age? I'm not saying give them a microphone and have them preach at 6 years old, but they can serve and need to understand they are not to be dismissed simply because they are not an adult.
Do not stop children from knowing, serving and loving Jesus or be a stumbling block for them. They just might have a deeper revelation of heaven than you would think. Children are special, Jesus loves them dearly and they have a place in the kingdom now. Have a child-like faith as you go out and make a great day!
