Good morning! Some people have a way of charming people into believing whatever they say. They can sell ice to an Eskimo, a bucket of water in a rain storm and pull on your heart strings to give to any cause. They may be sincere in their delivery but have ill intentions behind their veiled smile.
Their words are dipped in camouflage and it can be hard to discern their motives. But God cannot be fooled and knows the intent of every heart behind every word, action and sales pitch. This is why we must rely on Jesus in all things.
The heart is deceitful and will lead you down a trail of emotional leading that ends in travesty and destruction. This is why you must love the Lord with all your heart and your mind, soul and strength. We must surrender those things to His Lordship so He can fill us with righteousness.
Those who seek to do evil with selfish ambition will be paid for the fruit of their labor. God pays back for every deed done in deceit. It is a fearful thing to fall into the judgment of God! Let Jesus bear fruit in you that leads to righteousness that you may bear good fruit, fruit that lasts and withstands the test of judgment. Seek Jesus, do eight with the right motives and go make a great day!
