Thursday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! The ten verses the precede this verse is talking about the end times. It says it will be hard and suddenly the Lord will return like a thief in the night. It compares those who love Christ and those who don't.

I hope you are of those that do because it comes with great blessing and reward. We do not receive the wrath of unbelief and disobedience, we receive the crown of salvation and eternal life forever. So, be careful how you live!

We are not to pick up the world's vices or live like sin is free from consequence. We are to live in the light as He is in the light. We have an eternal home awaiting us in glory. Comfort each other with this as the times get hard and the world gets darker.

Lift each other up with encouragement that this present suffering is nothing in comparison of knowing Him and being with Him in eternity. Remind each other of the truth of God's word as you help each other to make a great day!
