Thursday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! Words are important and so is the way you deliver those words. How you talk to someone can determine rather or not they see Christ in you or not. Oftentimes, actions speak louder than words.

Do your words align with your lifestyle? Does your speech align with your character? If you say you love Jesus, but you are mean and short with people all the time, what does that tell them? It probably doesn't motivate anyone to follow Him, right?

Make the most of every opportunity. Listen carefully to what people say and pray before you respond. You may respond with words and sometimes with a hug. Knowing what to do in each situation is important. Take it seriously.

Use wisdom, especially to those who are not saved. Use every opportunity to show them Jesus by word and deed. Be firm in your resolve, but gentle in your delivery. Bring glory to Jesus and never let your emotions cloud your judgment. Pray about everything and let Jesus guide you as you respond and make each day a great day!
