Good morning! The law required a perfect lamb, without a spot or blemish, be offered for sin. It never redeemed you from your sin, only atoned for it. It covered it, but never removed it like redemption does.
Too many people want to buy their way into righteousness and forgiveness. You can't be forgiven or sin by what you can provide. It wouldn't be fair and makes an elitist mentality. That is not God's intention, for He is no respecter of persons.
If you could provide enough of something to remove your sin, then why did God send Jesus to die for your sins as the perfect lamb of God? To think anyone could ever buy their way out of sin is to spit in the face of God's perfect love and gift of His of own Son.
Let no prideful thought enter your heart, but surrender to the One who died for your sins to not only cover them under the law, but remove them under grace in a new and better covenant. Let His blood be enough for you to take away your sin as you make a great day!
