Good morning! Too often, Christians shy away from standing up for the faith because they are afraid of being mocked, ridiculed, talked about or labeled. But we are to understand that if you are going to be a Christian, you will be hated because Jesus was hated.
We cannot be soft and expect everyone to like us. We're not going to be liked by those who hate God and everything He stands for. In a world full of relativity, proclaiming an absolute makes you a target for persecution. Be bold for Christ anyway.
Jesus said you are blessed when they consider you worth persecuting. He said rejoice and be exceedingly glad because heaven has a great reward for you for your faithfulness to the gospel. Let them talk, let them mock, watch God be your defense and your reputation. He will defend you and has a place in heaven for you. Be bold in the face of persecution as you make a great day!
