Thursday's Devotional - 9/03/2026

Good morning! In order to get to heaven, you have to go through the door. What is the door? Jesus. He is the only means of eternal life and access to heaven. God sent Him to be the payment for sin and the way for salvation. Without Him, you don't have life. With Him, you have eternal life.

Jesus has become our Mediator between us and God. You cannot bypass the Mediator to get into heaven. It is not by good works or moral living that makes you a good person or qualified for heaven. Otherwise, Jesus came for nothing. But He didn't, He came because no one could ever be good enough to remove their own sin.

He was sinless and became the sacrifice for all sin for all time. That is why we have to trust Him. Apart from Him, there is no removal of sin. He has redeemed us. When we come through Him, we have life. Do you have life? Have you come to repentance and received His forgiveness? When you do, you have Him and have life. That gives you a reason to celebrate everyday so you can make a great day!
