Thursday's Devotional - 4/23/2026

Good morning! I have heard thousands of times over the years the plea for people to make Jesus the Lord and Savior of their life. Sometimes, I don't think people understand what that means nor is it explained well what it really means.

For Jesus to be Lord and Savior means to completely surrender all your will, desires aspirations and entire life to Him and let Him rule your heart, mind and soul. You put yourself off and put him on. You crucify your own way of life and let His way of life become your life.

It means you live in your body, but let Him umpire your thoughts, desires, will, emotions and actions. You live by faith in Him and for Him because He loved you and gave Himself for you. Let Jesus be in charge of your life and you will have eternal life. Let Him love you and you will see His love is better than anything and everything else. Live for Him as you make a great day!
