Good morning! When we put God, His kingdom and His righteousness first in our lives, He adds things to us, but what things? The context is Matthew 6:25-33 and gives us the answers.
He frees us from worry. Worrying about our life as to what we will eat, what we will drink or what we will wear. The necessities God will take care of and Jesus tells us we shouldn't concern ourselves with it, only have faith.
He tells us that the birds of the air have all they need despite not being able to work sowing and reaping. He tells us we are much more valuable than they are and how much more we will be taken care of by our heavenly Father.
He is telling us to trust and have faith. Work, be diligent and use wisdom but above all, have faith. God is able and He will provide. Let His promise of provision free you of worrying about the basics of life. Trust Him and let Him show Himself faithful as you make a great day!
