Sunday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! How often do you bless the Lord? I don't mean put an extra offering in the plate at church or do some deed, but just from your heart, express out loud a blessing to the Lord out of gratitude for who He is and the things He gives us. He is so good to us!

In life, we experience trials, hard times, discomfort, grief and pain. Sometimes, we can feel alone, especially when we're going through something others have a hard time understanding. But God, the Father of mercies, doesn't leave us as orphans or abandon us. He is with us no matter how big the problem or how deep the pain.

He offers us comfort in all our tribulation, even in ways humanity cannot. He comforts us in our trouble and teaches us how to navigate the difficult times. In turn, what we learn through the process and in His comfort we received is how to help others going through tough times. Freely we receive so we can freely give. Let the comfort of the Father of mercies wash over you today so you can comfort others in their trouble and together learn how to make each day a great day!
