Good morning! No matter how many times I see God come through in impossible circumstances, whenever a new situation arises, I find myself still having to not let doubt overtake my heart and mind. No matter how strong I am, I still find myself tired and weak needing the strength of the Lord to sustain me.
It's seems so easy to forget sometimes just who it is we belong to as believers. Even if you have doubts, because we all do at times, we need to let those doubts drive us to seek God all the more and not run away in fear from Him. Trust comes through intimacy. How is your alone time with God?
Are you seeking and pursuing the Lord in hard times as well as the good times? Are you reminding yourself of His goodness and faithfulness? Because God has never been anything but faithful. He's never given any of us a reason to doubt Him. But we doubt ourselves and our walk at times, don't we? Wondering, "Am I good enough for Him to answer this prayer?" "Have I been a good enough Christian to see His hand move over this situation?"
Let me help you; no, you're not good enough or a good enough Christian for God to do anything for you. Because it's not about you and what good you can do or the ability to live perfectly. It's about Jesus who did what no one else could do. He did it! He lived perfectly! He was good enough! So, we put our trust in Him and His work so that through Him being good enough, we are accepted in Him by the Father.
So, your prayers are not answered because of the size or greatness of the need. They're not answered by your ability to live up to the standard. Your prayers are answered because Jesus paid the price with His blood to make us righteous in Him. That's why we can do all things through Him who strengthens us. Because His love never fails. His strength never runs out. He is good enough! Take the pressure off of yourself and trust in Him so you can have the strength to go make a great day!
