Sunday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! God has always loved us and loved us before we loved Him. We couldn't love Him until we knew Him. He is love and to truly love, you have to have His love living inside of you. That happens when we surrender our lives to Him.

When we receive His forgiveness and experience His goodness, His love floods our being and we love Him who first loved us. It is the response of a grateful heart that has received an unjust pardon, in that we deserved death, but received life.

Through Jesus, we see God's love on full display. Through Jesus' own life's blood, God paid the penalty in full for our sins for all time. Once, for all, the debt has been paid. That is love! To pay for strangers who rebelled against their Creator to be given eternal life. What a Savior! What a loving Father! Think about His love and let it fill your heart as you make a great day!
