Sunday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! When you live for Jesus and He is your everything, you have an unparalleled relationship with the living God. He is on your side because you are for Him. You can call out to Him in distress and He will hear and answer you.

He is our shield and defender. If we could just really understand how powerful He is, we would never fear. When God is for you, who can really threaten you? God fights for you and protects you. When I realized He fights for me, the spirit of fear left me.

I no longer fear man or what could happen to me in this life. What's the worst that could happen to me? I die and get to go to heaven? Don't threaten me with a good time! Whenever you are in distress, remember just who it is you belong to.

God is not threatened by what threatens you. There is nothing that can intimidate Him or threaten His power, character or sovereignty. He is God! He stands and His enemies scatter in fear. That's who I serve and who has my back. If you love and serve Him, He has your back too! Rejoice in Him and let fear melt away from your life as you make a great day!
