Sunday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! When I was a kid, I needed corrected a lot. I didn't naturally do the right thing; I had to learn to do good. As i grew older, I had to decide to do what was good and be honest in all my affairs. Integrity is important.

Righteousness doesn't come naturally because we have a fallen nature. Since sin entered the world, our nature is to be rebellious towards God. We have to learn what is good and how to do what is good. We have to make the decision to do good.

We have to stop doing evil things. We humble ourselves before the Lord and ask Him to cleanse us of all unrighteousness. He will change the desires of our hearts when we decide to follow Him. We turn from evil, start doing good in its place.

Seek justice, rebuke those who push down others, defend those who are orphaned and be a voice for widows who are left without help and protection. Put these things into practice and you will be pleasing to God. Then you will learn how to do good and make each day a great day!
