Sunday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! Sometimes, when we are weary, we tend to worry. We worry about not having the strength to do what needs done. Not having the money to buy what needs bought. Not having the ability to accomplish what we are called to do.

But we have to remain heavenly-minded to remain in hope. When we lose sight of eternity, we lose hope for this life. Fix your eyes on Jesus. He has a place for you. He will come again and receive you to Himself. Where He is, we will be with Him also.

I take great comfort in this. This world and all that is in it will one day pass away. But Jesus' words, by no means shall ever pass away. Let not your hearts be troubled! Believe in God and believe in His Son whom He sent. He is enough! Jesus has conquered it all!

You don't have to fight from a place of needing victory. Christ has given us victory, so fight from a place of victory and occupy until He comes. Don't worry, just worship. Don't let anxiety overtake you, but rather pray with thanksgiving and make your requests known to God. His peace will guard you against worry, fear and anxiety. Jesus is enough. Let Him be enough for you so that in everything, you can make a great day!
