Sunday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! Grass is resilient, but it is temporal. It can be destroyed just like the flesh. Flowers have a season, but at the end of the season, they fade and die. So it is with the glory of man.

Our own glory only lasts for a season but the glory of the Lord will last forever. His word is eternal so we should build our life on His word and not our own abilities. His word performs what He sends it to do and does not return void. It accomplishes the purpose for which it was sent.

If you build your life on the word, it will lead to glorifying God and give you a crown of eternal life. It will last forever. If you build your life on your own accomplishments, it will fade with your memory and be forgotten over the generations. The word of the Lord will endure forever. Build your life on the gospel and the word of God so you can know how to make every day a great day!
