Sunday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! There are many claims about Jesus. Some say He never existed. Some say He did exist but was just man who was a religious zealot. With research, we can see He did in fact exist. We can also see, even through secular history, He was deeply involved with faith.

Deeper digging into those who were with Him when He walked the earth finds that He did rise from the dead. They were willing to die horrifically for what they knew, believed and saw. They had a living hope because they saw the risen Savior, Jesus Christ. Do you have this assurance and hope in you?

When you fully believe and trust in Jesus, you have received the abundant mercy of God the Father. You become born again and see life through the eyes of forgiveness. It helps you to see the gift of God that leads us to live a repentant lifestyle. We don't have a dead zealot, but a living hope.

Because of this living hope, we can live as children of God and not walk around in defeat and despair as the world spins off into chaos and turmoil. We know beyond this life we have the hope of the risen Christ giving us a crown of eternal life. Live like you have a living hope through Jesus and make ever day a great day!
