Sunday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! People always want some kind of advantage over others. Some people use race, ethnicity, family ties, social status or economic affluence to feel like they are better than others or assert some kind of dominance.

In Christ, every high thing will be humbled and low thing will be brought up. We're all even in Him because all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. It doesn't matter what skin color you have, what nation you come from, who you are related or connected to or how much money you have. None of that matters or exempts you from needing Jesus.

Everyone needs Jesus. Just because you have sinned differently than others doesn't excuse that we all have sinned. The blood of Jesus unifies us under heaven and makes us one in Him. All the barriers and advantages are gone. We are one in Him and will be with Him forever. He is the only answer for sin and divisions between us and God and each other. Thank Him that He saves us all and made us one in Himself as you make a great day!
