Sunday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! If you've ever lost a loved one, you know death can be a painful loss. It can sting especially if it is unexpected. If the person didn't know Jesus, it can be even more painful because hell had a victory.

For those of us who know Jesus, it is a very liberating thing to not fear death or hell. Death has no power over the believer and hell has no dominion over us. Heaven is our destination and eternal life is our victory.

Do you have this assurance today? Does the thought of death make you greatly afraid? It doesn't have to. When you know the Lord Jesus and have surrendered your life to Him, you can be at peace.

His promise of eternal life will comfort you and melt away all your fear. Heaven is your eternal home and victory is your portion. Think about this today and hold your head up high knowing death and hell have nothing in you as a believer so, you can make each day a great day!
