Good morning! I am thankful for the people God has put in my life over the years. Some He has put there for a season, and some for a lifetime. I am thankful for them all and the role they have played in my life and spiritual growth. This is why belonging to a church is so important.
God Himself is a community being Father, Son and Holy Spirit, so we have been made for the need for community. Surround yourself with a community of believers who will not just be a support group, but also people who can speak into your life.
We all need accountability. No matter how hard we try, we are not always right about everything. We need people to hold us accountable to God's word and His ways and do that for others as well. It's just of utmost importance to always do it in love. In this, the love of God abounds towards us and we grow into a community of believers that have power like an army.
We can tear down strongholds, push back the darkness and help one another in tough times. Find a church who will uphold the Bible as the standard for truth, uphold Jesus as the only example and way of salvation and will help you to always stay in the truth. Be thankful for one another and help one another to make each day a great day!
