Sunday's Devotional - 5/03/2026

Good morning! Because of sin, death is a reality. It was never meant to be that way, but through Adam's disobedience, we all know the consequences of sin. Through Adam, the first man, we all experience death. It is all around us.

Jesus came to be the sacrifice for all sin. He paid the cost of sin with His own life and through His blood, atoned for sin. That's why we have to put our faith in Him because He is the only One who was divine, perfect and sinless.

It is by His blood that we have forgiveness of sins. He not only died, but rose to life again. He is the only one who has ever resurrected especially under His own power. Through Adam, we have death, but through Christ, we have eternal life when we put our trust in Him.

So, though we may die, we have eternal life and through Christ's resurrection, one day we will resurrect into a new body that will no longer sin. Those who have not trusted in Jesus will rise again to a body fitted for eternal death and damnation. I really shudder to think of anyone's fate outside of Christ. If you're in Christ, you will be made alive. Put your hope in Him and you'll have nothing to worry about and be able to always make a great day!
