Sunday's Devotional - 4/19/2026

Good morning! With all that's going on in the world right now, it's easy to look away from Jesus and get caught up in all the news reports and cares of this world. But, that will quickly have you living in fear, anxiety, uncertainty, hopelessness, despair, anger or depression.

It's important to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus and the truth of His word lest we get carried away by the troubles of this world. Many people have put their hope in a president and when he does something careless or without prudence, they fall to pieces over it. If we didn't prop people up so high they wouldn't have so far to fall and we wouldn't be so disappointed when they do.

Humanity will fail you, but Jesus never will. Keep your eyes, hope and trust on and in Him. He is the only perfect One. He alone is our hope, our salvation and righteousness. He alone conquered death, hell and the grave. He has the keys to eternal life. Follow Him, focus on Him and listen to what He says. His report is the better report. Keep Him at the center of your life and you will always have what it takes to make a great day!
