Saturday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! This is a powerful prayer. Daring to be laid bare before God in the inmost parts of your being. Kind of scary to be that open and vulnerable before the Lord. But, He already knows those things, so we're only fooling ourselves if we think we can hide it.

Purity requires honesty. If we really want to have a pure heart and mind, we have to be completely honest with God. We have to be willing to expose the parts of ourselves we protect so vigorously. We can't be lead into the way of everlasting if we hold onto things the Lord says is wicked.

Would you be willing to pray this prayer? To ask the Lord to search you and know your heart? To try you and know your thoughts, to see if there is any wicked way in you? To ask Him to lead you in the way of everlasting? Be bold, be daring and vulnerable with God to let Him purify your heart and mind. Then, the thoughts you think and actions you take will lead you to make a great day!
