Saturday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! God hates evil. He hates how it hurts people, destroys lives and robs others from joy. If you love God, you should share His hatred for evil. It doesn't mean He hates people, it means He hates the evil things people do, especially to one another.

This is why God fights for His people. He is just and evil is unjust. It wrongfully hurts people in many ways. God is just and righteous. He deserves for justice to be done which means punishment for the wicked and defense of the upright.

Having a pure heart exudes the qualities of God. God preserves those whose heart is seeking justice and purity. He defends those who are innocent. He delivers those who love Him out of the hand of the wicked. Ask God to help you have a pure heart in all matters and to make room for His justice. He alone is perfect, so make room for His perfect judgment in all matters. Focus on Him and worship Him so you will have the right perspective to make a great day!
