Saturday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! Today is known as Valentine's Day and many associate it with romance. Though that isn't exactly what Valentine really was about, he did show God's love in the face of persecution and is believed to have been a martyr for it.

God's love changes you and for the better. He could have destroyed Adam and Eve when they sinned, but He chose mercy instead. God sent Jesus to show us true love. He is ready to forgive our sins because Jesus paid the price with His own life's blood.

This is God's great mercy and all we have to do is believe and call upon His name. When we cry out in faith, He is there to rescue us from sin and forgive us through His mercy. This is the goodness of God and what true love looks like. Fall in love with Jesus, the Lover of your soul. Then, you will see how good He really is and understand because of Him, you can make each day a great day!
