Good morning! One way we really need God's wisdom is in relationships. Oftentimes, people rush into a situation without praying, taking some deep breaths and thinking about the situation first. Leading by emotions can make a mess into a disaster.
When someone sins, take time to asses the situation and pray. Don't have a knee-jerk reaction to it. If you consider yourself spiritual, then be gentle and remember the goal is not to beat someone down with words, but to restore them.
You can do a lot more harm than good by not following this pattern of correction. Then, you can become self-righteous and prideful, falling into folly your own self. Restore them in a way you would want someone to restore you. Be gentle, compassionate and understanding. Lead them to the cross where Jesus paid the price.
It's very easy to point out the faults of others. Just remember, someday it may you someone is coming to restore. Be gentle, it is your brother or sister. Be loving but also use wisdom. If you don't know how to handle it, then go to a pastor who can guide you. Let love be your motive for all things as you go and make a great day!
