Saturday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! To live in the truth and walk according to the Spirit is the best way to be a walking witness of Jesus Christ. The evidence of living differently than everyone else will cause people to take notice. How can we be different?

The world complains about everything. It wants its own way all the time. It argues about everything even to the point of violence when someone dares to disagree. As disciples, stop complaining, but rather pray for God to intervene His will into every situation.

Ask Him to bring justice to every injustice. Mercy to every hurting person. And to help you to walk humbly with God in every situation. We need to be blameless and harmless children of God who are not looking to be violent, but loving and understanding without compromising holiness.

Dare to shine brightly in a dark world and do not let the darkness get in you to join in the complaining, arguing communication of this culture. Keep your speech godly and pray before you speak or give an answer. Fill yourself with the truth and don't let your emotions guide your thinking. Live in the Spirit so you will always be able to make a great day!
