Saturday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! What is good is getting skewed in the culture of the day. We can tell we are in the last days because the word tells us what to look for. It says in the last days, people will call good evil and evil good. So, what is good?

The Lord tells us what is truly good. The Lord has shown us what is good when He sent His Son to die for our sins and rise again to redeem us. The just for the unjust. Jesus showed us what is good by how He lived.

He was just and did justly in all that he did and said. He was fair and kept His integrity. He was merciful even in matters of someone proven guilty. He chose mercy because He was God's mercy towards us. We deserved death, but God granted us eternal life through Christ.

Jesus was God in the flesh. He could have walked with a serious God complex but instead humbled Himself and became a servant. He humbled Himself under the mighty hand of God and when He was cast down, God raised Him up and gave Him a name which is above every name. Be like Jesus. Do justly, love mercy and walk humbly with God. Then you will do the will of God and make every day a great day!
