Saturday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! When we see Jesus for who He truly is, we have hope to know we have someone to turn to when the cares of this life weigh us down. Let's face it, the government can say things are getting better all they want to, but things are expensive, taxes are insane, expenses are high and working is getting more laborious.

Insurance is high priced and doesn't want to pay when we need it. We need Jesus! The burden can be overwhelming. This is why Jesus tells us to come to Him. When you are weary and tired, come to Him. When you are weak and overworked, come to Him. When you are at the end of yourself and tired in a way sleep won't fix, come to Him. He cares for you!

His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Don't pick up the burden of things you were never meant to carry. Let His peace rule your heart and let Him give you true rest. The world may be trying to work you into an early grave, but Jesus has your retirement plan and it is literally out of this world. Let Him care for you, lighten your load and ease your troubled mind. Trust Him. Lay it all down and let Him give you what you can't give yourself. Let His rest be your portion so you can be strengthened to make a great day!
