Saturday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! Jesus is not only the bread of life, but He is the light of the world. He reveals the darkness and overcame all of it. He is light and there is no darkness in Him at all. He was tempted at every point, yet was without sin.

If we ever have a chance against darkness, we must follow Him, the light of the world. If we ever want to be victorious in our lives over sin and evil, we must follow Jesus to have the light of life. We cannot overcome darkness without Jesus. It is impossible.

Without Jesus, we are in darkness. It is only through Christ that we have light and can see our way out of temptation and sin. Only Jesus can stop evil and one day, He will completely wipe it out for good. But until then, we have to have Him living in and through us to defeat darkness. Let His light shine brightly through you, so others may see the light, turn from darkness and live in the light. Go shine and make a great day!
