Saturday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! God's voice is powerful. It is often likened to thunder in Scripture. When He speaks, things happen. At creation's beginning, He spoke and nothing became everything just at the sound of His voice. He does great things that we are still trying to figure out.

He voice commands and everything has to listen. If He says "snow" it snows. If He says rain, it rains. He is the Lord. He is sovereign. He alone is God. What do you think would happen if He spoke over your life? What would change? How would things respond to the thundering of His voice?

Get into His word and He will speak over your life. He will change things that need changed. Things that shouldn't be there will have to go and things that need to be there will come. I don't mean all trouble will disappear nor will all your needs be suddenly fulfilled, but you will have the spiritual nourishment you need to live the life He desires for us to live. Let His word thunder over you as you make a great day!
