Saturday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! When you give your life to Jesus, you turn over ownership of your life to Him. He calls the shots, He is the Master of your life and the Lord of you. You belong to Him, because He paid a high price for you.

He paid the ransom to free you from the power of sin and the penalty of death. So, when we put our trust in Him, we live for Him who freed us. If we die on account of Him, we are still hidden in Him and will inherit eternal life.

We all will die one day unless Jesus returns beforehand. Rather you die of natural causes or from persecution for His kingdom, we live and die for the Lord. He lived perfectly and died horrifically for us. We should live for Him because He is the only one who could take away our sins.

Praise God for His marvelous gift! I don't have to fear death because I belong to Jesus. My eternity is secure in Him who has redeemed my life. He is the way, the truth and the life. He is the only way to salvation. Therefore, I gladly belong to Him and know everything He has in mind for us who believe is to bring life and not death. Praise Him, live for Him and love Him as you make a great day!
